 J Alberto is a field blend. Malbec and Merlot grow together in a 4.5-hectare vineyard in Mainqué on the Rio Negro. These are ungrafted, massal-propagated vines. The vines were planted in 1955. The vineyard is divided into five parcels with different soil types. The natural conditions are conducive to organic viticulture.
